Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson is an American actress, who made headlines by playing Buffy Summers in the cult film Buffy the Vampire SlayerRebecca Becky Granger in the telefilm Nightingales and the short-lived NBC show with the identical nameErica Paget on the CBS drama Early Editionand Marlowe Viccellio in Psych. The native of California, Swinson was acting from a young age. Her career began in advertising, where she appeared in a variety of commercials.
