Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci was born on December 12, 1961 within Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti), Romania. Nadia is the Romanian Olympic gymnast and she has the record of being recognized with 10/10 scores during an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi who was the Romanian gymnastics trainer who would become Comaneci's coach in later years she discovered her when she was six. The year 1969 was the first time she participated in the Romanian Junior Games and placed 13th. She won in 1970. Her first ever international event in 1972 she came out on top with three gold medals. When she competed for the first time at the senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva, a Russian athlete, won five gold medals aswell as one silver. She took home the American Cup in New York City in 1976, becoming the first female to do a reverse double salto, which is a dismount from the uneven bars that are parallel. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career began as an entertainment professional as a teenager, when she performed as a figure skating duo with their sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol was a part of the entertainment business during her teenage years. She began her career as figure skater, performing alongside her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows named Ice Capades. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
